Now for MVP and World Series champs!
What a spectacular achievement by a guy who seems to be a great teammate. The reaction to Miggy’s success by the other Tigers speaks eloquently to Miggy’s team-first attitude. MVP today, and Hall of Famer 5 years after he retires.

Since Don Kelly is (one of) my favorite Tigers and a stand up walk off guy, please, Sam, a wonderful caricature of DK, pride of Mt. Lebanon, Pa. would be lovely. So very happy!!
I was at the final game in KC when Miggy clinched the Triple Crown. The KC fans were extraordinarily classy, giving him three standing ovations – before his first at-bat, when he was pulled from the game in the 4th inning, and when the Royals saluted him via the giant scoreboard in the middle of the 6th.
