  1. Thank you Sam, it’s been hard for us all. And I’m certain even harder on you, because you know we’re just waiting on you to summarize it for us in your awesome talent (and your conflicted love for things both Tigers and RedSox).
In the words of Rogers Hornsby – “People ask me what I do in winter when there’s no baseball. I’ll tell you what I do, I stare out the window and wait for spring.”
Here’s to April. Hope everything’s well for you Lady, thanks for all you do!

p.s. I’d still love to buy a print of that Torii/spiderman piece!

  2. Aw. Paws is so sad he can’t play any more.

Great quote Shawn – perfect for today.

  3. So very sad. The cartoon perfectly captures the way I feel.

Just a great, but utterly heart breaking series.

    On to 2014!

  4. This cartoon is perfect for my feelings today. There is a void I feel when Tigers baseball ends, especially this year. Heart – crushing series indeed! Not ready to think about 2014 yet, but I’ll. get there in a while.

  5. :( It has been such an up and down roller coaster kind of a year. But I wish it didn’t have to end this way. Whoever wins the Series this year, it will be their third title in the last decade. Am I a socialist for wanting them to share the wealth? *sadness*

  6. Awww, thank you for this, Sam! So sad. :(

  7. Dare I say, you’ve inherited the hearts & minds of the 1965 Michigan Little League State Champions (the 14 survivors) who still care deeply about the Tigs. I feel honored to bring my old friends to the doorstep of Sam. She demonstrates our feelings in ways only the gods can understand. You have blessed us, dear. See you in February whoever is running the show.
